About David

David Macpherson is a Realtor® with Licata Group Real Estate, proudly serving clients throughout  Virginia. Originally from Scotland, David’s life journey has taken him and his family across Canada and multiple states throughout the U.S., giving him a deep appreciation for the relocation process and the challenges families face when moving.

David brings an extensive background in global relocation, where he established and led service teams that supported Fortune 500 companies and major government organizations—including the World Bank, the U.S. Department of State, and the Department of Defense. These organizations entrusted David and his teams with managing complex international and domestic moves, relying on his financial prudence, organizational strength, and commitment to delivering exceptional results within reasonable budgets.

Today, David applies that same insight, diligence, and client-focused approach to real estate, helping expand the Licata Group’s success across Northern Virginia.

David and his wife, Alison, are proud grandparents and enjoy living close to their son, daughter-in-law, and three grandchildren in Ashburn, VA. Their family also includes their beloved rescue dogs, Teddy and Chloe. Outside of work, David enjoys real football (soccer!), Formula One, visiting local wineries, and cooking—interests that bring richness and balance to his life.
